If I have a Michigan Medical Marijuana Card and they spelled my name wrong, do I have to pay to change it?

I know that I’d have to pay to change the info or caregiver, but they made the mistake of spelling my name wrong. My middle name is Robert but they put K. for my middle initial. I’ve been pulled over once for my niece not wearing her seat-belt and the state officer told me that I had to change it. So I’m wondering if, since it WAS their mistake, I would have to pay for the change or if they will do it without charge.

    Yes, its only $10 but you wont get a new card for 6 months. You could protest the payment but that might take 10 years.

    They misspelled my last name completely. I had filed a change of address in January (it is now end of April) and now I have a card with a misspelled last name and wrong address. Can I even use this card at a dispensary? I already paid that $10 in January to update address but now the card has BOTH address and last name WRONG!
